What happened to Cisneros, Martinez, Pereira and Reyes. They were on the original list and looked like they had paid some. I was looking forward to a strong team representing California. Why can't we send our best?

Thats a pretty tough team theyll represent cali good, u cant make the top guys want to go. Its also another 750 & a lot of the kids cant afford fargo and the duals

I disagree with your comments completely. There is a good group of kids that are hungry to wrestle, but it will be interesting to see how they end up. Good luck Cali!

California USA wrestling offer scholarship. To the national champion, also to all America, California also give scholarship offer to our state champion and state placer. California USA wrestling offers scholarship to kids who are going to both Fargo and the duals. We want kids be able to wrestling in both wrestling tournament. Some just wanted to do Fargo
But it was not about money, California USA wrestling offer scholarship for the best in California.
But We do have Hungry kids that are driven and want to be the best.
If any state wants to beat use they have to fight for it.

I know a couple of kids that wanted to go but couldn't because of money. 1 was a state placer. Where are all these scholarships you keep mentioning. Maybe CAUSA Wrestling could make this known to the general public. Who is the contact person with this information? Or is it just said to sound good. There certainly isn't anything on their website about scholarships.

i also did not know about all these scholarships, i know two kids that are on duals and fargo teams that did not know of about any of these.

California USA wrestling is offsetting cost by offering free trips. If you a national champion you get to go free. If you are a all America you will get money going to your trip. Scholarship you can get that though your assoc. Director in your area. California USA wrestling wants kids to go on both trips. You also need to compete at the state wrestling tournament. Top three wrestler qualify to Fargo for jr national. Jr duals you need to turn a app. The person to contact is Greg Chappel head of all national teams. California USA wrestling is in the business of kids get a good events,getting kids a good experience in wrestling etc.

I sent two kids on this trip. Jason Zecchini and Jaime Galvan. Both at 160. Both received scholarship money. I have always felt the national duals was a better all around tournament than Fargo. You get your moneys worth. Instead of going to Fargo and having 2-4 matches, you go to the duals and get 15 plus against the same top quality guys. Excited to see the results. If nothing else, my kids are getting to have a great experience heading into next season. Thanks Coach Watts for all the help,

I sent 1 kid austin lobsinger and this is the 2nd year he has gotten a scholarship,people just got to ask how when and where just like any other organization.Just like college scholarships and grants there is thousands out there you just got to put in the work to find them and do the footwork ,like wrestling doesnt come easy.Find a way to get it done.
