We thank those of you who attended last years Mid Cals and look forward to seeing you at next year’s tournament. Each year we strive to make it as tough of a tournament as we can to help prepare you for sectionals and state and also insure you have a great experience. This year’s tournament will be on Friday January 20 and Saturday January 21. The tournament is a double elimination format.
Top 3 teams will get free admission to next year’s tournament. Champions will be given Clinch Gear shorts along with a Mid Cals Champion T-Shirt.
To register your team just send the following info to MIDCALS@YAHOO.COM

When you register you will be emailed an athletic contract. Please have the contract signed where indicated and return it with your entry fee of $350 to the address indicated on the contract before November 30th, 2011. When we receive your payment you will be confirmed. For last years results you can go to:

Once again we will be running the tournament using www.trackwrestling.com You will be sent an email giving you your logon id and password with instructions telling you how to enter your roster and seeding info along with the deadline to have it submitted by. The seeding will be done via a committee and final seeds will be posted on www.thecaliforniawrestler.com Thursday January 19.
Please note that weigh-ins will again be held at Gilroy High beginning at 7:00 a.m. Friday. Weigh-ins will close at 8:00 a.m. Scales will be available at 6:30 a.m. for wrestlers to check their weights. Wrestling will begin at 9:00 a.m.
I would appreciate it if you would let me know as soon as possible if for any reason your plans change and you will be unable to attend.
