Well, I think we better wait until school starts first. :) We're all excited for wrestling, but you might be jumping the gun just a bit.

This year will be MUCH more difficult to collect information and put out early rankings, due to the change in weight classes. I would guess once Ryan gets started that you'll get to see a good first draft of the pre-season rankings by mid November, and that's probably a best case scenario. It may take until competition begins in December.

As garrettm will tell you, rankings are all about cooperation. The more prompt coaches are at conveying information, the sooner you will see a set of rankings and the more accurate they will be. Luckily, in the CS, we only have 70ish schools to worry about, unlike the behemoth SS.

It is slightly too early. The rumors have already began flying about this kid is now here or there so rather than throw something up it would be best to wait a little closer to the actual start of the season so there is less confusion on what school kids are at and hopefully we will have a somewhat educated guess as to what weight kids will be at when the season starts (key words there are when the season starts). To be noted that does not mean what they wrestled last year, in elementary school, the summer, or the end of the year in a weight class 7 weights below their current weight.

As soon as information starts coming in I will start putting together rankings and once that becomes a workable and presentable list I will post. Just to put a little pressure on the coaches

Ryan, Bobby reports that Jose is coming to practice regularly and getting some workouts in ;-) I'll keep you posted.
