Hope your well, wanted to personally invite you to our fr/so/jr event. The format is drawing rave reviews allowing kids to compete against same grade athletes, and the addition of the junior class has allowed whole programs to attend. Were giving the winners trips to nationals, and the awards for all kids are second to none. The biggest draw is the competition, as of now every program in the top 20 at the state tournament has registered their athletes. Really hope to see you guys there. Brackets are filling up fast and limited to the first 40 athletes in each. Ernie
Coach can you please advise me where I can view teams attending Shark Tank Tournament and possible seedings. Thanks!
Hi Steve, I had been removing Kevin's posts when he moved to Nevada and started the duals as he had a clinic and fees, etc., which didn't fit with our forum rules. When he eliminated the clinic - and when he assured us that this was a fund raiser for his high school, like the tournaments we allow to advertise for teams when they hold them during the regular high school season. I really appreciate your concern and I think we've come to the point where we (our staff) need to discuss this off-season "invitational" advertising, as it's too tough for us to tell the difference between what is for profit for the individual (business) and what is all for the school. We're having some challenges with clubs doing exactly the same thing and have asked them to take out a banner ad - some are very cool about understanding what our philosophy is and others keep resisting! Again, thanks for bringing this up and we will discuss it today and make a decision very soon. Yours in Wrestling, Bill
