Not a direct payment, has far as I know, per competition, each school pays a fee for participation as a whole in terms of membership dues. One thing that might be different, and I have never dealt with this, but competetions that are not official championship events might be different.

trivia just for khs...they still have NOT put up the "league champion" banner in the gym for 1991...(they put '89 for the 3-way tie, but nothing for 1991...coach olson said he would take care of it. ...do you think those kids deserve to bring their kids into the khs gym and show it to them someday ?
