on the availability of the brackets?
They are supposed to be done by Tuesday sometime.
If Selma is the favorite as it is, imagine if they had some good heavier guys, too. They don't have anyone seeded past 154, but the guys they have below that are amazing. Even with just a few legit heavy guys, they would probably dominate the state tournament.
Is the S-S division a 32-man bracket?
"In a democracy agreement is not essential, but participation is."
is that it is supposed to be a 16 man bracket, but with the short-term inclusion of the freeway league, it may be ran as a 24 man tournament.
It is a 17-man bracket with the Freeway League getting 1 automatic entry per weight. All other leagues get 3. How they get to 17 I'm not sure.
ESL only qualified 2 this year.
the breakdown is like this
S-South Sequoia League 4 each
N-North Sequoia League 3 each
E-East Sequoia League 2 each
C-Central Sequoia League 3 each
WSI-West Sierra League 4 each
that gives a 16 man bracket. some of the weights do not have a full compliment of wrestlers from the league. I think I saw in another post that the ESL only had one kid at 217's, so we will know if it has to be over 16 man when they finally come out some time today.
