Questions, and Answers about your Membership

Question: When I buy a membership, when can I begin to use it?

Answer: Your membership is valid at the time of purchase and may be used immediately for access any, and all events in the United States. If you purchase your membership at an EVENT, or at your LOCAL CLUB make sure you receive a sales receipt as your proof of purchase. As it may take some time for the new membership to fully be processed in our system, please confirm your USERNAME,AND PASSWORD from Event Director, or Club Leader in case you lose you receipt. Since all membership cards are online only your username and password are VERY important to retrieve your membership card.

Question: Who should I contact with a question on membership?

Answer: Please e-mail calusarob@aol.com

Question: How can I get my USAW ID and password if I don`t have it or forgot it?

Answer: Go to http://www.usawmembership.com Click on the link to have your login information emailed to you. Enter your USAW ID or email address. If you enter your USAW ID, the system will email the login information for that USAW ID to the email address associated with that id. If you enter an email address, the system will email all login information associated with that email address to that email address. If you do not get the email with your login information you should send an email to info@usawrestling.org, or email calusarob@aol.com with your name, gender, address, date of birth, and phone number asking for your login information.

Question: How can I charter a club?

Answer: You must have an account with USA Wrestling in order to charter a club. Go to http://www.usawmembership.com If you have an account you can sign into it. If you don't have an account you can create one. If you have an account but forgot your login information, see the FAQ on retrieving your USAW ID and password. Once logged in, click on the Add Club or Renew Club link in the left menu, and the system will take you through the process.

NOTE: You must be listed as a club contact or have admin privileges to edit club information while RENEWING a club charter. If you do not have these privileges you can renew the club charter, you just cannot edit information about the club while chartering it. Once you have completed and paid for the charter, you can edit the club information. To do this, click Organizations in the left menu, searching out the club, click on it, and click the 'Profile' link.



Question: How do I print my membership card?

Answer: Login to the membership system at usawmembership.com. Click 'Profile' in the upper right corner of the screen OR in your left menu. Scroll down to the athlete, coach, and/or official area of your profile. Click on the red link that says 'PRINT CARD'.

NOTE: It is not necessary to put anything in the card number field to print the card out.

Question: How do I know when my membership expires?

Answer: The expiration date of membership will be printed on your membership card. As your expiration date nears, you will receive email renewal notice.

Question: Can member children come without a parent?

Answer: We typically suggest that a parent or guardian should accompany a child under the age of 18. If you have children who are bought by a babysitter/caretaker/grandparent/coach/friend, they may bring your children to the event. Please provide the membership card, or a copy of the card, to the caretaker and have a note indicating that you are giving them permission to bring your children to the event.

Question: Can anyone other than me use my membership?

Question: No! Your membership is for yours and yours only. You may not give your membership card to another relative or friend.

Question: I would like to buy a gift membership for someone. How can I do this?

Answer: To purchase a gift membership, please contact the member, can ask for their username and password. You will then be able to logo in, and purchase the new membership card.

An overwhelming number of coaches responded asking for assistance in marketing and promoting their clubs. We listened. Over the past year, we've been working on a number of tools to help you recruit new wrestlers and build your program's profile.
