CVWA AND USA WRESTLING is proud to announce that we will be running a Free summer wrestling league starting this Saturday at MCLANE HIGH SCHOOL . that'right FREE. All you need is a usa card and if your kids don't have one please let me know. We will do everything possible to get them one for Free!! Space is limited!

STYLE: ALL WILL BE OFFERED WITH A UNIQUE FORMAT. NO MEDALS WILL BE GIVEN OUT. JUST A CHANCE TO IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS ON THE MAT. ADMISSION WILL BE CHARGE TO COVER ANY COST THAT IS NEEDED.

CVWA first summer league takedown tourney is set for this Saturday July 16 from 8am-1pm. If you are interested please email the following on a spread sheet or email by Friday July 15.

This is open to all ages!!!!!!!!

Kids will be pool within 5lb increments. Kids will still need to weigh-in from 7:00am-7:30am. Wrestling will start at 8am SHARP! The summer league is intended to be a low-key environment and gear towards those who want free mat time. In addition, I will need help with running tables etc. Please forward to parents/coaches and wrestlers that will be interested.

First, let me thank everyone who came.

Turn out was small around 50-60 kids total. I was surprise we didn't have more wrestlers take advantage of this. Had some very tough kids there thou. We even had Niko Reyes show up and wrestle. Great opportunity to see a state champion wrestle.

Hope to see more local wrestlers next time.
