    Tournaments are USA Wrestling Sanctioned. USA Athlete Cards are required. Please use MLWA Association when purchasing your USA Card ONLINE ONLY. Absolutely NO cards available onsite.


    Spectator Fee: $5.00 Adults ~ $2.00 Students ~ Under 6 FREE
    • DOORS OPEN: 7:00 AM ~ Brackets will be posted prior to doors opening!
    • WRESTLING STARTS: 8:00 AM ~ Be Prepared and ready by 7:45am!
    Entry Fee for Wrestler: $10.00 per wrestler paid to your COACH during weigh in’s only. Please DO NOT attempt to show up and pay individually. Your Coach will check in and pay for the entire team. We ask that you please Call & Talk to the TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR LISTED FOR THAT SPECIFIC TOURNAMENT & most importantly please EMAIL: Motherlodewrestlingassociation@gmail.comby Sunday 6:00 am with your childs specific information including TEAM NAME if you can no longer attend the event so they can repair the brackets. Failure to do so may result in additional $10.00 NO SHOW fee charged to your team. >>

    Tournament Rules:
    v Tournaments will be Round Robin format – Nothing larger than a 5-man bracket with the exception of the Mother Lode Mania which is double elimination!
    v Tournament will be Pooled weights following close to USA weights.
    v Rookies-Novice will wrestle 3 rounds at 1 minute each.
    v All rookies will be assigned a permanent mat. Check your will bracket for the Mat # and report to that mat at 8am. The rookies will wrestle continually with no breaks and will receive their Medals at the assigned mat when the bracket closes. Parents and Coaches please stay with your rookies until they receive their award.
    v Middleschool will wrestle 3 rounds at 1.5 minutes each.
    v Certified Referees and High School referee trainee’s available all day
    v Doors open 7am – No earlier. Wrestling starts at 8am please have your wrestler ready to compete at that time. Brackets will be avail and posted by 7am please CONFIRM your wrestlers bracketed correctly with your HEAD COACH. Only a certified TEAM COACH can talk to the pairing room regarding bracket errors.
    v Awards vary at each location and will be posted on site. Do not attempt to collect your award until your bracket has been called to the awards area.
    COACHING: USA Coaches cards are required to waive spectator’s fee or for floor access. MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE!
    ** MLWA Championships will sell Floor Passes for $20.00 to non-coaches.
