Style: Folkstyle
Entry Fee: $10.00 per weight class and or division.
Registration: All registration is the morning of the event or by special arrangement with the tournament hosts for outside the area teams travelling to the tournament in the morning.
Weigh-ins: 7:00-8:30 AM
Weight classes: Pooled brackets double elimination.
Girls: Girls will be placed in the boy’s bracket, but will be allowed to wrestle exhibitions or a seperate bracket should numbers allow against other girls at no additional cost.
Divisions:
Kids (bracketed based on age),
Novice (please understand that the Novice division is for someone who started wrestling during the summer 2011 or after and is a current high school student),
Junior Varsity (a non varsity letterman from the previous year)
Varsity (current HS student)
Open (high school junior or senior through veterans)
Medals: Top three per weight class.
Note: A USA Card is required. Cards are valid from September 1st through August 31st. 2011-12 USA Cards can be purchased online at themat.com for $35 plus a service fee. Cards may also be purchased the day of each event for $45.00. There is no club membership requirement and insurance coverage for each card member is valid at any USAW sanctioned club or event nationwide.
Admission fee for spectators: A maximum of $5 per event will be charged at the door, this is up to each site host. Current year USA Coaches or officials cards will be accepted for admission.
