We as a staff, along with our wrestling boosters are proud to present to you, our Inaugural, “ Elementary Chukchansi Invitational”. This tournament is the elementary version of our High School event. It will be a true double elimination tournament that will be held on December 30th, 2011. We will have trophies for the top 3 teams, along with medals for all wrestlers earning 1st - 6th place.
The cost of this year’s tournament is $150.00 for your first 20 wrestlers, any extra wrestlers competing for your team after 20, will be an extra $10.00 per wrestler. We will also allow individuals entrants at $20.00 per wrestler. There will be no individual registration the day of the tournament.
The Madera South High School staff is going to work very hard to treat you and your wrestlers to the best wrestling event we can. We have excellent facilities, and a supporting faculty that will help make the “Elementary Chukchansi Invitational” an annual event for years to come.
We are fortunate enough to bring you a great tournament in an even greater wrestling community. With out a doubt, this will be another junior high tournament you do not want to miss. We hope you accept our offer to come to Madera South High School and compete in the “Elementary Chukchansi Invitational”.

My plan right now is grades 4-6...The Jr. Chukchansi will be grades 6-8, do to the fact some Jr. high schools in our area are 6-8. If a 6th grader competes in the Jr Chukchansi, they will not be allowed to wrestle in the Elementary tournament. If a wrestler is good enough to compete in the junior high tournament then thats where they need to compete, one or the other. I am very excited about the Elementary event and hope it will become an annual event for years to come...

Please notice the weight class changes to stay aligned with SCWAY weight classes.

Just talked to one clovis unified coach today.... Miramonte Elementary School will be there. I sent info to all the CUSD Elementary coaches, I am hoping once they finish their fall sports and wrestling season comes around I will hear more.

Dinuba will be at the Elementary Chuk...

All wrestlers will wrestle in one division. We will have trophies for the highest school team finish and the highest club team finish and the overall team champions.
