as i watched some college football this weekend, the announcers talked more about these teams heading to the big east conference.

There seems to be a lot of specualtion on this subject, I am going to see an old classmate (Associate Pac-10 Commissioner) this weekend at a reunion, so I will try and get the story straight from him.

Looks like we got our answer sooner than later. The Pac-10 announced yesterday that it would not expand to 16 teams. The word is that the commisioner who has pushed for expansion could not get enough votes to make it worth proceeding. I wonder if he would support adding OU and OSU just for wrestling.

Pac-12 not Pac-10.
It's still going to be interesting -- though I doubt wrestling has a factor in the decision -- as the Big XII is still in limbo.
