Anyone else not like this change. Seems like we have enough Cadet/Junior events. It was nice to have something for younger kids to look forward to that are not yet placing in the high school state tournament. Yet, I am biased--my son is a 10th grade first year Junior...maybe we go SCWAY this year?

1. This opened it up to kids that fall into the gray area of 8th grader who is 15.

2. This now lines up USAW terminology of that age group.

3. Open's the doors by eliminating high school language, and allowing more kids to compete as a club member. Instead of a perceived high school team member.

Our board voted on it,and we looking forward to a great event.


I hope this helps-bottom line is our board thought it was a good idea and so do I.
