    SCWAY Zone 6&7 Championships

    This sunday 2/26 @ Valencia HS

    top 6 qualify for SCWAY k-8 State in Clovis

    Every Champ gets sublimated Zone Champ Singlet
    Custom SCWAY 3d Bear medals for placers 1-3

    winning team gets (20) benjamin franklins ($2000)
    one scorer per weight class (does not need to be designated)

    top teams either registered or committed

    where does the state money go?

    already this year (again just like we did in year 1)

    Hosted NY/OH youth team for junior midcals

    30+ kids already went to cornell/pa trip
    12+ kids already went to nuway national duals
    13+ kids already went to ill, in
    50+ kids going to nuway nationals in april
    14+ kids going to idaho this summer
    25+ kids going to mi/il this summer

    thats just youth

    plus winning team gets a free mike krause camp at there facility at a time of there choosing

    NEXT YEAR ALL OF OUR STATE PLACERS WILL HAVE FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL TO BE ON ONE OF 4 TEAMS THAT ATTEND THE VAC DUALS--

    and yeah you do have to qualify for our event--and yes that likely costs us $$$ because we get less entrants but hey were not a money grab--and we don't advocate watering down terms in the sport like state champion or national championship events like some do in order to make a buck.

    Eddie those financials are useless-- they are consolidated and the expenses arent itemized

    no one cares what those financials say--all they know is they pay more and get less

    See we actually take parents on these trips and they know exactly where the money goes--because they watch it get spent on their children

    I am pretty sure simple math can be done to figure out what SCWAY does with the money

    our whole budget is less than 100k --- which is 25% of ca-usaw budget

    now you ask yourself who is doing what with the money

    I mean heck you get $7 or $8 a kid every week--what are you doing with the 40k-50k Cagwa brings in--didnt see that in the 990

    but being the big CEO you are you should know we have 27 months to file with IRS

    oh I got it so the 50k-60k goes to awards and you and a few others for running the events.

    so you should have a 1099 or W2 but thats not on the 990

    yeah the IRS allows that for a specific reason there Mr CEO -- because if you were a service based entity that actually losses or makes very little money than it would not make sense to pay the filing fee or incur the additional accounting fees that come with being a 501(c)(3) and they realize it takes on average 18-27 months to weigh those trade offs.

    I didn't work at a chicken shack eddie-- and from what I have witnessed unlike you we actually don't have to dodge the question of where the money goes

    since inception we have over 400 kids that have had subsidized trips as well as helped a ton of clubs financially--If anyone wants to call them as references to as where the money is going in the interim ill be happy to send them a list.

    we did what we do sent teams in from all over the region like (9 states) and usaw in IL decided to ban anyone who attended from there state series--now why eddie?

    oh just $3 I thought it was $6 for the clubs--and why do they have to go to the finals to get it--havent they paid enough?

    Don't worry now that you are freashly cashed up you can disappear into the sunset for 8 months untill its time to come back and rape and pillidge next november.
