Important Team California Gear and Wildcard Information!!!!
1. Registration: Make sure you register on line by MARCH 25th @ www.nhsca.com. Questions? Please call NHSCA at (610) 923-0900. There will be no walk-up registrations!
2. Wild Cards: Wild card positions are available. Please call or email Bill Grant- Phone (831) 649-5237 or billgrant1345@hotmail.com or email Al Fontes at al.fontes@sbcglobal.net with your wrestler’s name and bio, including his overall record, all tournament placements this season, any significant wins over state placers, and Folkstyle, Freestyle & Greco accomplishments. The deadline for the Wild Card application is Wednesday, March 7th at noon! Sorry, no exceptions.
3. Team California Gear: Please email, call or fax your orders to billgrant1345@hotmail.com, call (831) 649-5237 or fax (831) 333-9250, and mail your checks to CHSWCA, 220 Alder, Pacific Grove, CA 93950. Thanks to the generosity of Asics/TW Promotions, Clinch Gear and KSJ Studio, the gear package for senior wrestlers is only $65.00 ($170.00 value). It includes a T-shirt, sweatshirt, MMA board shorts, hat, and gear bag. Gear packages are only available to Senior National participants. Parents and coaches of Sr. National wrestlers may purchase items separately — please use the gear order form. Gear orders must be received by FRIDAY, March 10th. *To secure your gear, you may place your order(s), and then snail-mail us your check.
4. Gear Distribution: Gear will be handed out at the senior national weigh-ins (Thursday afternoon, March 29th) by Team CA leader Mark Tucker (Bella Vista High School). Extra gear will be exchanged or sold after all wrestlers, coaches and parents have received their gear.
5. Don’t Delay: Last year 48 senior national wrestlers ordered Team California Gear packages and 50 coaches and parents ordered Team California gear. Unfortunately, there can be no re-orders.
Be sure to download and print out the attached PDF gear order form, and mail it to the address listed at the bottom of the order form by March 10th.
