Oakland Tech at CIF?

Sorry for being lazy, but I was shooting all day, I kept hear about pin-falls from Oakland Tech guy(s), what's the story? There were at least two, if not three or more. I know there was a 30 sec pin during the qrts, but I suspect that was wrestle-backs. Good on Coach Sherman for bringing some fire power.

Oakland Tech's Elijah Davis (junior). Really talented guy ... was at Deer Valley (NCS) last year but transferred to OT. Won Cadet Nationals in Greco-Roman over the summer so he's fairly accustomed to the big stage. Lost his first match to #7 Tim Maldonado (Los Osos) but has a nice streak going in the consolation rounds, including a big upset over Martin Ramirez (Elk Grove), a two-time returning state medalist.

He has Victor Lopez (Poway) tomorrow morning ... winner makes the medal podium!

I see, thanks for the update. I saw he got stuck by Lopez, bummer. Lopez then got stuck himself. It's a tough day in California.
