Interested in wrestling in college next year?
Simpson University, in Redding, California, is building a team to compete in in the NAIA Division next year. If you are a wrestler, or know of a wrestler, who could compete well at this level and would feel good about a continuing education at a Christian College, get ahold of me. I am currently talking with several wrestlers, but still have some room on the team.

Rather than mail out 10,000 letters, I would like to hear from seriously interested athletes, and coaches who know of wrestlers who would fit well at Simpson. We are completely backed by the university. We will have new mats and gear and have a very competitive schedule, fully funded by the college.

State is over. It's time to make college choices. The NAIA ofers is a great opportunity to continue wrestling at a competitive National level and have a realistic chance at earning All American honors in college. Simpson University is a great place to earn a degree, and Northern California is a wonderful place to live while you work for your college and athletic goals.

I hope to hear from some of you soon! dwilliams@auhsd.net

Are there scholarships available at Simpson? How do you apply for one?

We had a great weekend at Lake Shsata with some of the recruits, tubing and fishing, rock diving and just getting to know each other. Efrain Rodriguez (Chico) is in and we created a good bond, although he seems to get bounced out of the tube alot. Austin tried his hand at fishing, I think I'm going to have to take him to a private pond i know of where the fishin is easy.
P.S. I will be Dons assistant for the next few years, hope to see some Foothill boys soon. -rod-

    Default Coach,

Please post a list of the kids who have signed with Simpson? I am very happy about the addition of a new program. Good luck.

I hope you got a few of the local kids here in California. It would be nice to keep our talent in state. Can't wait to see the lineup.

    Default Simpson University

Good news for Simpson Wrestling. Last week we signed a least with Cross Pointe Community Church to use their gymnasium. It is a 100,000 square foot facility with both male and female locker rooms, it was the gymnasium for their school and now they have relocated that school. It is also located 1/2 mile from Sun Oaks fittness club, where we will have memberships for all of the wrestlers.
Things are falling into place, we are excited and ready to go. If you are still interested in joining our team, go online to Simpson University and fill out the application for addmission. We offer a great education, great facilities, great financial program, all in one of the nicest places to live in (Redding, Ca.)... Go Redhawks!
