3rd Annual California Republic Invite
As we did last year, we are releasing the California Republic Invitational general information now. Our goal is to continue to give you the best event possible…. with the best talent at the most competitive price. Year 2 saw a tremendous growth in participation from all areas… many more teams participated to put us over 700 total wrestlers in 4 divisions. We laid out 17 mats and were done with the last match of the day at 5:40 pm. Many of our brackets had huge numbers with just as many quality wrestlers. Very few tournaments (excluding State Championships) can say they had as much talent in one location under the same roof. Our awards continue to be 2nd to none and how we run the event (thanks to Jose Ramos) is very fan friendly and efficient. The great thing about it is that every section of the State attends and really is a preview of who will be at the podium in March, with a few surprises. We have a very high returning commitment % as every team who attended WILL be back and has promised to spread the word. People are intrigued as the 2012 Cal Republic post had over 11,000 hits plus another 3000 hits from the original post that was erased when TCW was hacked, by far the most of any youth event in California. http://www.thecaliforniawrestler.com...ornia-Republic
2013 promises to be even better. As word of mouth spreads, so does the realization that this is THE can’t miss event in our State. We are proud to have participants from both SCWAY and Ca-USA, our friends from North Nevada and if all works out…. a few other states as well. Our goal to give you the best event possible still holds true as teams like Selma, Dinuba, Tulare and others from CVYWA have made it very clear that they will work in stride with Corcoran to make sure this happens. We hope you continue to choose The California Republic as the event for your club as we will continue to make improvements so that you circle the date on your calendar for 2013.
