California Women’s Freestyle Summer Dual Meet Challenge
Overview:
The teams will be made up of 12 women using the Junior FILA freestyle weight classes. Participants can be either FILA Cadet or FILA Junior age groups and must have a current USAW Card. Teams for the north will compete against other northern teams and teams from the south will compete against other southern team. The championships will be the best team from the north vs. the best team from the south.
Registration deadline April 29th
Following the conclusion of the Cadet, Junior and Open State tournament in Fresno, Ca (The qualifier for the Cadet and Junior Nationals held in Fargo, ND). You can turn in your registration at the State event or e-mail them to Marcie Van Dusen at darcie1988@yahoo.com
Time Schedule:
The Dual meets will be held on Friday nights piggybacking USAW Saturday events. The first Dual meets will be held Friday May 18th and continue every Friday until the Championship dual Friday June 22. The Championship will be held at Menlo College following their summer camp June 18-21st. Menlo will also be hosting a Women freestyle tournament June 22nd; any of the participants of the championships teams are welcome to participate in that tournament as well.
Rewards:
Each participant will receive a free T-shirt. The first and second place teams will receive team awards.
