CLOVIS WEST SHOOTOUT


December 7th and 8th 2012

Clovis West High School is honored to continue the tradition
of hosting the 24th Annual Clovis West Shootout Dual Tournament
also known as the “Toughest Dual Tournament in the State.” This
year we will be slightly changing our format. We will be crowning a
Big school and Small school dual champion on Friday. (Each School will get 5 dual matches)

Big Schools will wrestle a tradional home and away format with Clovis High, Clovis West, Buchanan etc... on the home side and 5 out of town schools on the away side.

Small schools (6 schools will be invited to wrestle in a 5 match round robbin )


Then Friday night we will be separating the top 4 guys in each weight and
Wrestling in a 16 man individual tournament Saturday combing all the schools.

Clovis West wanted to give smaller schools the chance to become
Shootout Team Champions and then teams that are competitive but have some really good individuals they have the chance to compete and win an Individual title.
