4th Annual "Chukchansi Invitational" Dec. 7-8, 2012

Dear Coach,

We as a staff, along with our wrestling boosters are proud to present to you, our 4th Annual Madera South Wrestling “Chukchansi Invitational”. This is a true double elimination tournament that will be held on December 7th and 8th, 2012. We will have a large & small school champion along with medals for all wrestlers earning 1st - 8th place. Furthermore, champions will receive a special gift for their accomplishment of going undefeated and the top 2 teams overall and small school champions will have their entry fee waived for the following year.
The Madera South High School staff is going to work very hard to treat you and your wrestlers to the best wrestling event we can. We have excellent facilities, and a supporting faculty that helps make the “Chukchansi Invitational” an annual event year after year.
We are fortunate enough to bring you a great tournament in an even greater wrestling community. With out a doubt, this will be another exciting kick-off tournament you do not want to miss. We hope you accept our offer to come to Madera South High School and compete in the “Chukchansi Invitational”.

FORMAT: 16 Team Pooled Rotational on 8 mats
• Each team will have 5 duals
• Teams will be divided into 4 pools of 4 teams (3 Duals)
• Teams will then be placed in brackets according to pool placement. (2 Duals)

WEIGH-INS: 8:00 am in the wrestling room (C.I.F. weights)
You may weigh-in more than one wrestler per weight (C.I.F. weights) Turn
in original rosters at that time.

WRESTLING: 10:00 am until 5:30 pm

MATCHES: Round 1 = 1 minute, Rounds 2 & 3 = 2 minutes.

AWARDS: Trophies to the top teams in their pools

ENTRY FEE: $275.00 per team.

LOCKER ROOMS: Will be available for showers after the tournament. Bring your own soap
and towels.

FOOD: A snack bar will be open all day. (Two lunch tickets per coach)

New format this year for medal matches. 7th place matches will be wrestled during consolation semis and 1st, 3rd and 5th place matches will be wrestled together. Our goal is to have medals handed out by 4pm.
We will again have our coaches social at Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino. Wrestling will conclude Friday by 5:30pm and the social will start at 7:30pm. Tansportation to the resort will be prvided.
