I am helping Doane University (NAIA) in Nebraska recruit California high school wrestlers for our women's teams.
Coach Dana Vote is the Director of Wrestling. Last season Coach Vote was named the NCWA Coach Of The Year for the NAIA. Last season Doane University won the Great Plains Athletic Conference for the second consecutive year plus a top 5 finish at the NAIA Nationals and a top 3 finish at The National Duals.
Coach Zach Wilcox is in his first season as the Women's Head Coach. Zack Wilcox joined the Doane coaching staff before the 2019-20 season. He previously coached at Midland from 2013-19. He is also been on staff for the Nebraska USA Wrestling (NEUSAW) Freestyle and Greco teams since 2012. He was named Head Coach of the Doane Women's Wrestling program in August 2022.In July 2022, Wilcox led the Team USA 20U Greco-Roman Wrestling team to the Pan-American Wrestling Championship in Mexico.
An Omaha native, he wrestled collegiately at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and Maryville University (Mo.). He was a three-time collegiate Academic All-American and a two-time NCAA National Championship at UNO.
We just completed our first season with a Women's team. Doane finished with 4 National Qualifiers and 2 All-Americans, 3rd and 6th places. We are looking for young women in all college weights, 101,109,116,
